Getting to Know the Cast: Charlie Brown

Every other day I will be posting some information about a member of the cast and production crew of our upcoming Dinner Theater You're a Good Man Charlie Brown.

To begin the blogging series we will start with the Good Man himself:

Erik Gunn
Character:
Charlie Brown
Your Nickname Growing Up: Gunner
Favorite “Schultzism:” When Lucy calls Charlie Brown wishy-washy and he replies: “Why can’t I change just a little bit? I’ll be wishy one day and washy the next.”
What do you miss most about being a child? Being able to play hide and seek and actually being able to fit in the hiding spaces.
How long have you been involved in the Farmington Arts program? Since I auditioned, but I have done arts things for years Other Farmington places/events you may have seen Erik at: Entertainment Committee Head for Farmington Festival Days 2009 and 2010, Produced Farmington's 2009 production of The Foreigner
Why should someone come to see Farmington City’s Dinner Theater production of You’re a Good Man Charlie Brown?
It’s an amazingly fun show that brings everything great about peanuts to life.

Described by many - "he just IS Charlie Brown!" Don't miss this landmark performance.

When: Wednesday, October 20th - Saturday, October 23rd at 6:45pm at the Farmington Community Arts Center (120 South Main Street). Tickets are $18 and include a full dinner and dessert.

Summer Musical in Woodland Park

The King and I
East versus West makes for a dramatic, richly textured and ultimately uplifting tale of enormous fascination. It is 1862 in Siam when an English widow, Anna Leonowens, and her young son arrive at the Royal Palace in Bangkok, having been summoned by the King to serve as tutor to his many children and wives. The King is largely considered to be a barbarian by those in the West, and he seeks Anna's assistance in changing his image, if not his ways. With both keeping a firm grip on their respective traditions and values, Anna and the King grow to understand and, eventually, respect one another, in a truly unique love story. Performed for the first time in the area, and on Farmington City’s Woodland Park Amphitheater, this production is sure to be unique and endearing – one you won’t want to miss!

Show Dates: Tuesday, July 13th – Saturday, July 17th
Show Location: Woodland Park (300 South 200 East) Farmington, Utah
Show Times: 7:00pm with a Matinee Performance Saturday, July 17th at 1:00pm
